The ground floor accommodation has a large open plan dining kitchen with a fully equipped kitchen area, which includes a built in double oven, hob, extractor fan, fridge with freezer box, dish washer and washer dryer.
The dining area has a contemporary feel, with table and chairs to seat six people. Steps then lead you down into the sitting room featuring multiple windows, a cosy wood burning stove and stylish oak wood flooring.
French doors lead on to a large private deck from where you can enjoy a drink whilst watching the most stunning sun sets, as the sun drops down over Plymouth Sound and settles over Burgh Island.
In addition to this, there is a downstairs shower room with a power shower, ideal for washing off after a day on the beach. |

Upstairs, there are two superb double bedrooms. The master bedroom has a French carved double bed and double wardrobe, accompanied by a vaulted ceiling and a large church style window, allowing a most spectacular view over Thurlestone Rock that makes it difficult to draw the curtains.
The second bedroom also has sea views over to Hope Cove with two single beds and a double wardrobe. There is a luxury shared bathroom with a cast iron ball and claw bath.
All this, plus an indoor heated swimming pool and sauna, make for a relaxing holiday, whether it be a summer holiday with delicious cream teas in a 1950’s English setting, or a winter break full of brisk coastal walks, long lunches and log fires watching the ever-changing sky and sea. |
